Neoprene, Diesel, Viton HST

  Best for:
  • heavy duty protection where the ultimate protection is required

Neoprene, Diesel, and Viton Heat Shrink Tubing

Chlorinated Elastomer (Neoprene) heat shrink tubing is used for insulation, strain relief, and abrasion protection on cable harnesses and wire bundles in military and aerospace industries. It provides fluid and solvent resistance, including lubricating oil, aviation, and ground-vehicle fuels and hydraulic fluids. Neoprene remains flexible at low temperatures.

Diesel Resistant flexible polyolefin heat shrink tubing is used for protection of wires, solder joints, terminals, connections, and components. It is highly resistant to aviation and diesel fuels, hydraulic fluids, and lubrication oils. It also provides protection from abrasion and mechanical damage.

Viton® flexible rubber-like fluoroelastomer heat-shrinkable tubing is used for protection of wiring, bundling, harnessing, and component covers in military and commercial aircrafts. It has a superior resistance to highly corrosive fluids, fuels, lubricants, acids, and aggressive solvents at low and elevated temperatures up to 200 C. It also provides protection from abrasion, impacts, and cut-through's. It is very flexible at high and low temperatures.
